Abstract The article focuses on the connection between reading and writing. The use of reading questions being answered in writing can be a powerful tool to support reading understanding, and to make students more aware of the construction of expectations and the selection of reading purposes they do in their reading activity. The author shows some ways to acquire active reading strategies, such as the use of reading questions that respond to different fields of analysis, or the use of both open and close comprehension questions. |
